Different names, same idea — a ceiling. Volume targeting surrenders ~10 cmH2O below the high-pressure alarm. If VTE is falling and pressure is kissing the limit, you are done targeting.

Standby

Standby on a connected patient is a disconnect. The T1 will scream. So should you.

O2 enrichment

Two minutes of 100% — suction, lift, a bad minute. It is not a new FiO2. It ends.

Neonatal circuit on an adult

Or the reverse. Flow and compliance measurements become fiction.

Trigger too soft in the truck
